In order to improve the computing environment at IGPP, the IGPP Software Pool has been created as a clearinghouse of information about software packages commonly used throughout the department. The individuals below have agreed to act as points of contact for information about the package listed next to his or her name. In some cases, a URL containing additonal information is also included.

The nature of the packages varies from Freeware exchanged throughout the international research community to licensed commercial software requiring fee-based keys. The POCs below will be able to tell you if you have the most current version of the software, and if not, how to obtain the lastest version for your system. For commercial packages, the POC may be able to organize group purchases or inform you about bulk agreements already entered into by UCSD.

Please direct your questions first to the POC, and only afterwards to IGPP systems administrators if you have not been able to get the assistance you need. For general questions regarding the Software Pool, please contact Pete Davis.
