When traveling, you can can send mail from non-UCSD provider by using their SMTP servers or configure your e-mail client to securely use smtp.ucsd.edu for your specific e-mail client.
Before taking a trip please double check your settings. Please
test this before you leave, especially by replying to someone with a
non-UCSD address.
